Rebecca is a Zürich bred, London-based actor-writer of British, French Jewish and Irish heritage. She has a Masters in Acting from Rose Bruford College, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Theatre & Performance from the University of Leeds. In her five-year career, Rebecca has performed in 8 short films, 13 plays, and is set to appear in her first TV series and feature film roles in Summer 2022. She was recently cast in Taba Productions' short Hamdardi and starred in four short films releasing this summer: Angry Star Entertainment's Western Oldstones, Midnight Runners' historical drama Moishe, UCA's psychological thriller M.O.M., and London Film School's crime drama The Last Blue Rose. Coming up, she is set to feature in Aoxomedia's dystopian fantasy TV series The Butterfly Beat as Sarah Constant and Shot Positiv's psychological thriller feature From The Corner Of My Eye as French surgeon Dr. Babineaux. Her theatre credits include National Theatre's Network with Bryan Cranston and Michelle Dockery, Secret Cinema's Romeo + Juliet, National Youth Theatre's Viral, Shoreditch Town Hall's Lost Children, and White Crane Productions' The Unreturn of Lydia Osborn at Edinburgh Summerhall. Her short film credits include Hangdog Films' Plant, Riverine Productions' Flatmate Troubles and Northern Film Schools' Good Side.
In 2019, Rebecca wrote, directed and starred in Dawn of the Transmaton: an immersive performance of a game simulation run by a multi-planetary artificial intelligence. Now, in 2022, alongside her acting projects, she is adapting the stage production into TV mini-series The Zen Of AI. She is also writing biopic feature Lévy, a historical drama about her grandmother's journey as a French Jewish orphan during the Second World War, and autobiographical feature Add & Subtract, a quirky romantic drama about the chronicles of a young woman with ADHD. With a particular interest in Artificial General Intelligence, her time is also spent laying down the foundations for the beginnings of her own production company Zenai Pictures, which will focus on creating female-driven content about science, technology and humanities next steps.
